In July 9th 2022, the same year The Butterfly Fairy book was published, a museum called at the The Butterfly Fairy Museum opened.  Then in 2024 it's name was changed to Spencer's Fairy Museum. It is a private museum that features art of the two stories that Spencer and his family have written, specifically The Butterfly Fairy books. Not only does it feature live butterflies & moths, but a butterfly and dragonfly collection, and tons of specimens mentioned in the lore of those tales.

As part of the fairy museum education, we raise lepidoptera, which means both butterflies and moths. Spencer has raised both butterflies and moths that are indigenous to New York. He raises live Luna moths, monarchs, painted ladies, and  a variety of different species of swallowtails to highlight characters in the realm of the butterfly fairy stories. Additionally, displays explain how butterflies and moths are linked with fairy mythology around the world.
